WIndows Vista was created in the year 2007 by the Virussians. It is a virus designed to look like an OS. Using Vista will cause your computer to crash a lot of times in a nanosecond (.4 of a femtosecond to be exact.).

Windows Vista, in real life, was created in 2001 by Microsoft as a side project from Whistler and Blackcomb, while the first builds to appear on the internet were released in 2002-2003 (build 3683). It had the longest development span of any Microsoft OS (2001-2006), let alone that the original Longhorn project after build 4074 was a complete mess, with Build 4093 being the last build before a development reset, some four and a half hours after it has been compiled. The developers decided to start fresh from the Windows Server 2003 codebase, with the first build being 3790.1232. It is an operating system designed to have Windows Aero (for Authentic, Energetic, Reflective, and Open or Awfully Error-laden Rogueware Ootyerfannyflaps), a set of interface and design guidelines that were introduced by the real life Windows Vista operating system. It has been negatively reviewed by most people. It's internal name was Longhorn, but in 2005, the official name, Vista, has been adopted. The RTM build (6000.16386) was compiled on November 1st, 2006 at 10:05PM. It was known to be quite unstable, and very few PCs could actually run it at the time (system requirements were underkill for 65% of all PCs). This caused Microsoft to rush out Windows 7, which was what Vista should have been.
In many universes, Vista is known to be the most evil Operating System in the world, and using it can cause numerous problems for the user, from System crashes, to BSoDs, to other terrible things. (Windows 7 build 7000 had a bug, where you can get a BSoD by oversizing the title bar as well, fixed in later builds leading up to 7600.16384 (pre-RTM))
The only way to stop yourself from crashing is to install Windows 7 or Windows Vista Service Park 2. (or the SP2 Rollup, unofficially SP3)
Etymology[]
The name Vista stands for Virussian Spy, Tracing and Annoyance or Very Irritatingly Sucky Trashy Abandonware, while Vista in real life has no secondary etymology, and is Spanish for "view".
